So like I said before, I have 4 assignments due next week. Which explains my lack of updates. This whole coming week is going to be a complete nightmare I tell you.

Been working on my design these few days.

My hands are numb from all the glue stains.

My hair has some strands of glue stuck to it.

My study room is a mess; like it always is when I have a studio submission due soon.

I just realise my drawings can't fit into an A3 paper and I don't have any bigger sized-ones.

I think I easily took about 30-40hours accumulated to make my model. Fitting the damn thing to my site wasn't as easy as i thought. It's not even finished yet.

I am trying my best not to think about my workload so I don't get too stressed out and break down.

The hot shower I took about 10minutes ago helped a little. Hot showers tend to relax my tense shoulder muscles.

The tense is coming back though. Oh gosh.. this needs tons of perseverance.

Trusses kill.

AAR.
Monday, November 02, 2009

I didn't mention it before here, but yeah. I won tickets for Digi Music Live featuring the All American Rejects, a long time ago before the event was first postponed.

I just tried calling in one day to hitz.fm, and I got in.

That won me 2 VIP passes to the concert.

Then, i tried calling in again a few days later to try my luck in winning another pair of tickets for Karyn.

Which amazingly, I did again.

Karyn and I went to Astro Bukit Jalil to collect the tickets just last Friday. I drove.

Very eventful I would say, hmm.

Just to sum it up:

1. Me making a right angle turn to get to the right booth at the toll,

2. Me getting a surprise visit at that time of the month and Karyn laughing because she thinks i'm being too paranoid.. -.- ,

3. My name not being on the damn list of winners (but thank god the guy made some calls and found out that I was a genuine winner, and i got my tix!),

4. My car getting hit by a crazy deranged aunty's hands for following her go through some cones. Ugh. I would have showed her the damn middle finger if I didn't think that she was a lunatic that will break my window just to strangle me if I did it.

At least we got our tickets! (:

------

So the four of us who decided to go were me, Ade, Karyn and CJ.

We were there at 5.30pm? CJ gave all of us a lift (thank you!)

My 'cool' lunchbox, made by the monkey for me (: Ham and chicken with scrambled eggs sandwiches! I feel like a kid, hee.

Me, in the car on the way there.

Adeeee.

Awww. Karyn feeding CJ ayam goreng McD.

We finally reached and parked! (:

Oooh i see watermelons! ;)

Karyn acting cute, and CJ.

It took us almost an hour lining up to enter the stage area.

Was joined by my classmates Kamarol, Khairi and Hazwan too who got their passes last minute.

With Khairi. (:

With Hazwan and his awesome t-shirt.

It's funny when you put it that way.. :D

With Kamarol!

Ze gals.

Need to berjakun sikit with the banner lah you know?

Converse-wearers. Notice the gleaming white pair, Karyn's. -.-

The line was really long, so we took more and more pictures!

Peekaboo!

The VIP tags that I was excited to be wearing (only at THAT time).

Me acting cute.. HAH.

Omg, this is jst PART of the crowd lining up too.

Notice we all are making different sign languages.

While they act cool, i act cute. HAHAHAHAHA. bodoh. -.-

Since the line was so long, CJ got us some ice-cream. You know how sometimes ice-creams can be really cold till they have frozen ice around the ice-cream?

I think it's because I haven't eaten ice-creams in a long time, but I just popped the whole thing into my mouth.

THEN, i couldn't take it out! because it was stuck to my lip wtf. -.-

Embarassing sial. I managed to take it off later, but my lip bled. ):

Organisation was terrible, i have to say. How can you expect hundreds of people to enter through just one narrow entrance? They should have more.

And, it pissed me off that when we were in already we couldn't get into the Hitz zone which is closer to the stage. Thats what our bloody yellow wrist-tags were for la. They claimed that it was full. Well i think they should have made a better estimate on how many people were going to be inside there since they have a record right.

Okay all that aside,

The concert began with opening acts from the local bands, no surprise there.

The stage.

Me with my Digi clappers, and Khairi.

Notice the afro dude. ITS FALIQQQQ!

Local band. She was awesome, though I can't seem to remember the name of the song she was singing then.

Some were really good, but i think there were too many local performances. Its as if the main thing were them? All of the local performances easily took 2 hours.

In between, there were certain crowds that jumped around their own circle in the already-packed-place like hooligans. I know its all mosh-pit style and all, but why can't they be considerate over the people that they are pushing aside, even causing some to fall?

I was one of the victims who was pushed aside to the other end, until I lost sight of my companions wtf.

Was damn lost and tried making my way back, and only found them 20minutes later. -.-

Ade and I scolded them once, with all the swear words coming out of our mouths, and was joined by several people from the crowd who thought the same about them.

Was really relieved and happy when someone from the crowd couldn't stand it too, and sprayed pepper-spray, directed towards the 'hooligans'.

They were cursing and rubbing their eyes, and had to leave the crowd. :D

Sweaty and drenched at the same time from the light drizzle.

Waiting for AAR to come outttttt.

Happy me with my Digi clappers. (: (I'm a maxis user though, boo Digi)

CJ and Karyn. (:

The All-American Rejects kept us waiting for a good 20-30minutes before they finally came out after the local performances.

That time was spent watching the Digi Music Live advertisement on the big screen dozens of times over and over again.

Was definitely entertained when they showed Fergie singing 'I Gotta Feeling' though, heh. :D

When The All American-Rejects finally came out, the crowd went ballistic!

All the hands shoot up, and you see this.

The bassist i think? He's cute. Sorry I don't know the names of the band members except their vocalist Tyson.

Tyson with his native American chief-hat, in the Halloween spirit! :D

Them singing a slow emo song that i fell in love with.

Haha, excuse the afro.

Wah, such a dramatic shot of Tyson.

They sang every song I knew from them; Swing Swing, My Paper Heart, I Wanna, Move Along, and even some that I don't know of but still thought was really good nevertheless.

The bassist became a keyboardist too if i'm not wrong.

Guitarist with crazy ass rocker long hair.

Tyson oh Tyson (: He's really funny, because he acts so gay-ish.

And that marked the end of the concert, people were just screaming their heads off because they put on a real good show.

Even when we were exiting, we couldn't help but sing along to their song playing in the background.

Yes they were good. (: I just didn't like the organisation and the very crowded pushy people.

On the way back, we camwhored more in the car;

Fishy!!!

Trying to wink.

We were supposed to look serious in this shot, but i think me and Ade failed.

AAR <3

P.S. I took some videos too, but there are too many and most of them are shaky because of the jumping me and the jumping crowd. Well if i'm hardworking, one day i'll try compiling them myself into one video then post it up. (:

P.P.S. There are some things that I've done with the monkey too during the past week that I want to blog about, and i shall after this. (:

Shogun!
Saturday, October 31, 2009

I've only been to Shogun once, and i found the food there really expensive and, not very fresh..?

So i never went back.

BUTTTTT.

There was a promotion going on, where you get 25% off lunch on weekdays. That amounts to only about RM32. (YES DAMN CHEAP RIGHT!)

Okay, the monkey found out about the promotion. Its not a surprise, with him being a Japanese food addict.

So we both went just last Tuesday. (:

I even purposely woke up earlier than i needed to just so my tummy will get hungrier for me to stuff as much food as i can in.

Sometimes, i get soo annoyed when he can't just put a pair of his shoes on. or shave. SO PASAR-MALAM-ISH LAH YOU. Dahlah got hairy legs!!!!!

Yes, forgive my outburst. When i tell him this face to face, he will snort and give me his pig face. -.-

The sushiiiiii~ (Oh, pictures aren't actually allowed but i managed to take a nice clear one just before the waiter told me about it. heh!)

Yes, he got himself that much of sashimi. And this is just the first round, mind you.

He even got us one whole plate of tempura's. (which he ate 3 quarters of)

My selections! :D I'm more of a sushi-person.

Aerial view, lol. I see squidddd.

The monkey got himself 2-3 helpings whereas i died right after that plate, some tempura's and some teppanyaki.

Sigh, and i was so determined to prove him wrong about me wasting my money in buffets.

The chindian monkey. Neither here nor there.

Me with my sushi :D Oh, i was wearing a kimono-like-top-thingie! how appropriate.

Oh-chah!!!

Green tea, yam, and chocolate ripples ice-cream!

Mirror, mirror, next to our table. (:

Okay, this is the story. I told him to take a picture for me. He went on taking stupid continuous shots of me scolding him.

So i..

..attempted to stuff this IN HIS FACEEE!

Okay, he finally took a proper shot (:

The look he gives when I scold him. idiot.

Itu jer pengembaraan buffet Jepun kami (:

My review?

Well, i still don't think their food is 'wow!' even after my 2nd trip there. The sushi there tastes as if they're frozen overnight. I prefer the ones in Sushi Zanmai.

The teppanyaki was really good though, they're cooked on the spot. Though i almost puked when the monkey told me i was eating lamb. Argh, can't believe i didn't recognise the taste. (To those who don't know, i think that eating lamb is a sin.)

Their salmon sashimi is good too. And i love it, promotion buffets are the only time i eat sashimi because i can't afford them in normal Japanese restaurants.

-END OF REVIEW-

Waiting for the lift.

He bullies me. Stupid monkey.

(JUST BECAUSE YOU'RE TALLER!)

P.S. *Hugs the monkey!* Thanks for bringing me to Shogun nevertheless. Loved it! (:

P.P.S. Going to the AAR concert tomorrow!! Collected my tickets already. Can't wait? (:

P.P.P.S. I have alot to update about, but not much time to. Its towards the end of my 2nd semester and its getting very, very hectic. Four assignments due two weeks from now, one after another. And right after that will be my final examination. Good luck to me in surviving. *hangs self*

Spookfest!
Wednesday, October 28, 2009

So our school (SABD) organised a halloween event just last Mondayy!

Weird thing is, it was held in the morning.

Anyway, some of us decided to just take part for the fun of it.

I managed to pull together a 'Greek goddess' costume. (Yes i know, pukeeee all you want geeeeeeez)

It's supposed to be a costume competition, with some trick-or-treat.

Well.. it was alright.

What i enjoyed the most was taking pictures with the fellow classmates who dressed up. (:

Sherene as a soldier, Serene as a pirate, me as well.. *cough*, and Carol as Esmeraldaaaa~

Us at the courtyard.

2 out of the 3 pirates we spotted there.

Hazwan! yes, he's dressed up! guess, as wat?

Familiar?

He is supah-man!!

Real parang okay?!

From left; Pao yee as the female phantom of the opera, Carol as Esmeralda, and Naafiah as the corpse bride.

Vincent! He looks spooky when he wear the mask and doesn't speak a word.

Sofia the cat, and Naafiah the corpse bride. :D

Me with supah-man and pretty.

Timothy as a raped victim (I'M SERIOUSS!), Carol, Sherene, Melody as a cute schoolgirl!, and Serenee.

The jokerrr, he won best costume (:

Eh Johnny Depp!!!

Trying to be scary, haha.

Sherene, hitting on me. hahha!

Not to forget, Alex the butterpaper monsterrr!

Omigoshh, his costume is so adorableeeeeee!

We took turns to write on his costume. I wrote this on one of the papers he stuck on his back haha.

And someone left him ay smooch, aww. ;)

Group pictureeee!

We resumed to class after that with our costumes on. I was apparently the only one dressed up as a 'good' person, hah.

Cherng Yu in Serene's pirate hat, awww. (you should make this your new facebook picture!)

The raped victim and the rapist, Yee Cheng. HAHA.

Serene and her obsession over pirates. Well this costume is soo fitting.

Me with Naafiah. She looks sooo exotic here she could be a mermaid ohmigosh!

Ze crazy lady.

Sherene killing Khairi for ffk-ing us on dressing up.

Me with Kamarol the half-surfer-half-pirate-dude.

Us around the butterpaper furniture. haha.

He's seriously so adorable in the costume i couldn't help but hug him!! :)

Of Dim Sum's and a Random Visit to NZX
Monday, October 26, 2009

So after much postponing, the five of us (me, Karyn, Lisa, Ade and Jing) finally managed to gather just last weekend.

Was supposed to randomly pick an area nearby for lunch together, but was joined suddenly by Kok Seng and Adrian who craved for Dim Sum.

So we layaned them, since we ourselves couldn't decide what to eat.

Ended up at a Dim Sum place in Taipan.

Dim Summmm!

Our knowledge on the various dim sum's were almost nil, so we just picked whatever that looked interesting to us off the tray. :D

Kok Seng with his funny hand poses, and Karyn looking blur as usual.

Ade with 'shuet char', and Adrian with his stupid Liverpool jersey.

Lisaaaa (whom we haven't seen in ages!) and Kok Seng.

Karyn and Ade, with an annoying man named Kok Seng trying to ruin the picture as usual.

Jing, me and Lisa (:

Big mouth.

Moustache-faces!

The workers there saw us doing this and couldn't help pointing and laughing at us.. -.-

Me with Lisa (:

Jing had to leave early because she was heading back to her hostel early, so the rest of us hung out there for quite some time, talking shit.

Decided to accompany Kok Seng to Ara Damansara to drop something, then we headed conveniently to NZX.

It was dead at that time. Maybe because it was in the afternoon, and maybe because it was a Sunday.

Well, with the random posters and statues everywhere, we occupied ourselves by taking pictures heh!

Us imitating the sport actions.. HAHA.

Adrian and Kok Seng's hillarious mimic of Goofy.. :D

Oh we love goofy. Don't mind me laughing, i couldn't believe we were running around doing this. :D

"To infinity.. and BEYONDDDDDDD!!!!!"

Lisa and me squealed uncontrollably when we saw this, you just can't resist pooh bear he's so cuteee!

HAHA Kok Seng wtf.

Naked manequins, what an interesting backdrop.

We finally couldn't take the heat and decided to get a drink and some air-cond at Full House.

Lisa and I with the infamous mini cooper in front of the shop.

A concept restaurant selling lots of out-of-the-world items too.

MY EYE! WOOT.

Me with my pitcher of lime juice, the cheapest on the menu. :P

Them staring at each other's eyes across the table, awww. (:

Kok Seng's super gila long eyelashes.

Feeling comfy under the breeze of the air-cond (:

The across the table shot of Lisa and Ade.

And one of the little boy. :P (I agree with Karyn about this being your facebook picture!)

P.S. Watched the MU-Liverpool match at night with the classmates. DAMN SAD LORRR. ):
